Setup
None. Well, it couldn't
hurt to have a spare room or closet handy, with good blinds on any
windows. With a door. And hopefully enough space under the door to ensure
that a couple isn't cheating by turning on the lights.
Rules
of Play
A couple (see notes) is
chosen to go first, by drawing lots, rolling a die, or any other way which
can be thought up. It doesn't really matter . . . everyone else will get
their turn eventually. They enter the other room together, turn off the
lights so it is completely dark, and have a limited amount of time to
switch into one another's clothing. They must remain at whatever stage
they get to until everyone has had their turn, or for a predetermined
amount of time..
Variants
Beat the Clock: For those
extra-competitive players, allow the couples to "bid" the minimum amount
of time they feel is needed for them to "switch." Have a suitable penalty
ready in case they fail, and an appropriate prize for the couple who
completely switches clothes in the least time.
Notes
This is a great ice-breaker, as each person is (usually) only interacting with
their regular partner. In addition, there is the embarrassment/excitement of
cross-dressing . . . not to mention the exposure risk if the couple isn't quick
enough!
For obvious reasons, you may wish to take body size into consideration,
and form couples on that basis. Unless, of course, you would prefer
enjoying the hilarity of seeing 375 pound Chuck (very partially) in his
wife's 34A bra. Not to mention seeing her in his boxer shorts.
