make it just like all the other strip poker games except make it where you can post like say 5 picks of yourself and 5 pics of an opponent you know or where it has default players so the game is more personal imagin giveing it to a b/f g/f friend excedra as a gift would be cool any thoughts on this

Actually, we toyed around with this idea a year or so ago -- letting a person use his or her personal pics in the strip poker game as a gift for their partner. Or, anyone else, for that matter. When we spoke to some of the users of our other games, however, there wasn't too much interest in seeing such a game developed. We haven't necessarily ruled it out forever, but hate creating something that almost nobody is interested in.

As an aside, if we were to sometime create a program like that, how would you prefer the photos be handled? In other words, with us doing the editing, sizing, etc. to get them into the game properly; or with you doing that work?

HONESTLY THE BEST WAY TO DO IT I THINK IS LIKE THE ANIMATED GREATING CARDS YOU PUT YOUR PICTURES IN. There already is a roll-your-own strip poker game company out there... not sure if we need two of them. I'd prefer to see this site concentrate on the games it has.

Ultimately, the games we put together depend primarily on two things.

First, whether people are interested in a particular type of program. That's why we have no problems with folks' suggestions -- here, or by e-mail. Second, whether we'd enjoy developing the game (and, in particular, testing it ourselves). Oh, and also imagining the fun and games others are having with them.

As we already have a strip poker game out there, developing something like Kidbuick is describing could be seen as "concentrating on the games" we already have. Ultimately, it'll depend on whether other folks make a similar request. Well . . . anyone interested?

As an afterthought, we all know that there similar games to at least a few of ours out there. We just try to put our own twist on the concepts, whether that's more creative interactions, different play options, or whatever.

I also would like a Video Poker game that I can use my own photo sets with.

I would have no problem with formatting the pictures to a specified size and/or aspect ratio. I've collected a number of photo sets off of the newsgroups, that are suitable for culling a strip sequence out of.

I've done some preliminary work creating my own game and thought I would allow a variable number of photos in the sequence. I planned on equating a dollar amount to a peice of clothing, and changing the cost per article of clothing, based on the number of photos in the set.

What you mention is a possibility, but it'd take a fair amount of reprogramming of the existing computer code. Obviously, we couldn't add the pictures ourselves, for the reasons mentioned in the above link (plus, not having any rights to the pics). Guess it'd depend upon whether or not we feel there is sufficient interest out there for something like what you mention. Interested, folks?
