Astroglide Liquid Personal Lubricant is not necessarily our favorite lube, but definitely is our most used.

Astroglide has a number of pluses in its side. At the risk of sounding sexist, it's guaranteed to please the feminine side of the relationship. This is due to Astroglide being water-based, making any clean-up a breeze, and not leaving any significant stains on sheets, chairs, carpets, or anywhere else you should decide to go at it. In fact, any mess is more likely to be from, uh, participant-generated lubrication than from the glycerin and other ingredients in Astroglide. It also provides (to us, at least) just the right combination of slipperiness and friction to enhance our lovemaking.

Of course there is a down side, as nothing is ever perfect. Astroglide can be considered a "light" lubricant. While it works great for vaginal sex and masturbation, we consider it only fair for anal play. During the latter, it just doesn't seem long-lasting and thick enough. Well it can (and has been) used for such, you'd probably be best off considering a specialized lubricant for backdoor play.

Overall, we'd recommend Astroglide without hesitation for most erotic encounters.
